Reporting cycle: Biennial from 2026 — all elnätsföretag assess their flexibility needs for the coming 5–10 years every two years.

Use of reports:

  • Inform national non-fossil flexibility targets (Art. 19f, Regulation 2024/1747), due 6 months after first FNA report
  • Feed into ENTSO-E’s Union-wide Network Development Plan (UNDP)
  • Lay basis for development of potential support systems for flexibility
