Title: Förbättrat kapacitetsläge i Göteborg Author note: the clipping’s own author field is empty; the name comes from the post text Language: Swedish

A short corporate LinkedIn post announcing that villkorade elnätsavtal are no longer applied in Göteborg. Assertions only: there is no supporting data or document in the post, and it is the company’s own framing of a good-news development.

What it says

  • The villkorade avtal that had been an important tool against the risk of power shortage will no longer be applied, “a clear sign that the capacity situation in Göteborg has improved”. Companies that previously had villkorade avtal now get their requested capacity guaranteed. The timeline in the post dates the change to November 2025 (“Villkorade avtal slopas”).
  • The post names three reasons behind the improvement:
    • a stepwise allocation of 426 MW from the regional grid up to 2035
    • strong development of Effekthandel Väst, the local platform for power trading
    • grid tariffs that contribute to more efficient grid use
  • Timeline as the post gives it:
    • 2026–2029: continued development of flexibility solutions “as a bridge while waiting for strengthened grids at regional and national level”
    • 2031: planned commissioning of Vattenfall Eldistribution’s new double 130 kV line to Hisingen
    • 2035: Svenska kraftnät’s transmission reinforcements in Västra Götaland expected to be complete
  • It links to the Effekthandel Väst page on nodesmarket.com.

How it sits against what the wiki already had

The wiki’s earlier account, from Source - GENAB Nätutvecklingsplan 2025-2034 (2024), was that GENAB had used villkorade avtal since 2023 for all new connections at or above 1 MW (1 MW guaranteed, the rest conditional), as an absolute last resort that it hoped never to activate. This post supersedes the “in force” part of that description from November 2025. It does not say whether existing agreements were converted, whether the 1 MW threshold still applies to new connections, or how the 426 MW is scheduled.
