Reference: NODES public market statistics, retrieved 2026-10-10. The public, no-login statistics behind the NODES portal dashboard (traded volumes and prices), filtered to the two Swedish markets on NODES: Effekthandel Väst – Göteborg and Effekthandel Väst – Mölndal.
What the dataset contains
- Volumes: monthly MWh per product (LongFlex, ShortFlex, MaxUsage) per market, 2023–2026. NODES has no Swedish data before 2023.
- Prices: monthly volume-weighted average, minimum and maximum price per market and product. The currency is SEK, but NODES does not state whether prices are per MWh or per MW/h. LongFlex is an availability product, so it may well be per MW/h.
- The FSP list, assets, order books and trades need a login and aren’t included.
Endpoints and parameters
Public, no-login API behind the dashboard (base https://portal.nodesmarket.com/api/bff):
- Volumes:
/public-ui/anon/traded-volumes-statistics, paramsresolution(month/week),year,type(reserved/activated),orderBy=statisticPeriod desc,marketIds. - Prices:
/public-ui/anon/price-statistics, paramsresolution,year,statisticType(LongFlex/ShortFlex/MaxUsage),marketIds. The response carriescurrencyId: "SEK"but no per-unit. - Market IDs: Effekthandel Väst – Göteborg
7f91f515-6da5-4157-bd06-b43a4eae9f9e; Effekthandel Väst – Mölndal79d6f7ff-96da-486f-9d68-2b85b1c30f0c. Passing both gives the Sweden total, which equals the sum of the two markets.
The portal’s tender statistics (2,247 MW requested, 1,687 open tenders, 524 grid nodes on 2026-10-10) cover all countries, not Sweden. The only open Swedish tender on 2026-10-10, “TEST VE” (Göteborg Energi Nät, 1 MW, SEK 0), is a test and isn’t cited.
Sweden totals per product (both markets, MWh, calendar years)
| Year | LongFlex | ShortFlex | MaxUsage |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2023 | 31.7 | 0 | 2.8 |
| 2024 | 2,198.1 | 122.2 | 338.9 |
| 2025 | 5,454.4 | 159.2 | 1,422.8 |
| 2026 (Jan–Feb) | 3,779.9 | 330.6 | 701.6 |
Caveats
- MaxUsage appears under both the dashboard’s “reserved” and “activated” views, with identical values. Count it once, as its own product; never add it to both.
- The weekly series doesn’t reconcile with the monthly series (for example, it has ShortFlex in 2023 and early 2024 where the monthly feed has none, and nothing after week 13 of 2024). Only monthly figures are used on this wiki.
- The monthly feed shows no ShortFlex before November 2024. FlexAbility’s season data confirms that activations took place in 2022/23 and 2023/24, so treat the feed as incomplete for those years.
- Volume appears only in November–March. In the 2026-10-10 retrieval the last non-zero months are January and February 2026; March to December 2026 are returned as zeros, not as missing rows, so the feed ends at February 2026 and has no autumn 2026 data yet. The data can’t tell a true zero from missing data.
- Do not confuse two figures that both read 2,247: Sweden’s January 2026 reserved LongFlex is 2,246.5 MWh (rounds to 2,247), while the portal-wide “requested tender capacity” of 2,247 MW is an all-country total. They are unrelated.
- Some prices look like placeholders or test trades: Göteborg November 2025 (LongFlex 0/0/0, MaxUsage 1/0/1) and a Göteborg December 2025 MaxUsage minimum of 0 (VWA 999). They aren’t cited on this wiki.
- The data has no up/down direction field.
- These are calendar years, not seasons. They don’t line up with season figures in Source - FlexAbility Delrapport 3 (2025).
Raw copies
The monthly volumes and prices (Sweden, Göteborg and Mölndal) and the portal-wide tender totals as retrieved on 2026-10-10 are saved under Raw/ (see the raw field). The market list, grid-area polygons and dashboard screenshots stay in the maintainer’s Internal/nodes folder and are not cited.
